Privacy and data
Move Objects for Assets is built on Atlassian Forge and runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure. It is eligible for the Runs on Atlassian program: no data leaves your site, and Systematic has no server that receives your data.
What it stores
The app keeps a small store inside your Atlassian site, managed by Forge:
- Settings: the app's language.
- The move in progress: the IDs of the objects being moved and how far each one got, so a move can continue after a pause. Removed when you close the move.
- The move log: for each moved object, its old and new keys and label, the two object types, the values that did not fit the new type, the number of references and the keys of the work items that were updated, the old object's history (dates, attribute names, old and new values, and the Atlassian account ID of who made each change), and the account ID of the admin who moved it. Entries are erased after one year.
What it reads
- Assets schemas, object types, attributes, objects, their history and the objects that reference them, to make the move.
- Work items whose Assets fields hold a moved object, to point them at the new object.
- Your own permissions: whether you are a Jira administrator and which schemas you manage.
What it never does
- Send data outside Atlassian, to Systematic or to anyone else.
- Email anyone: work items are updated with notifications turned off.
- Use your data for advertising, analytics or training.
Personal data
Account IDs in the move log are reported every week to Atlassian's personal data reporting API. When Atlassian says an account was closed or changed, the app erases the moves that hold it.
Deleting data
Uninstalling Move Objects removes the app, and Atlassian deletes its stored data under the Forge platform's data retention policy. Objects and work items it changed stay as they are in your site. To ask about your data, write to us at info@systematic.com.lb.
