Privacy and data
On Behalf is built on Atlassian Forge and runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure. It is eligible for the Runs on Atlassian program: no data leaves your site, and Systematic has no server that receives your data.
What it stores
The app keeps a small store inside your Atlassian site, managed by Forge:
- Settings: whether the app is on, the organizations allowed to use it, the excluded projects, the comment option and the language.
- Recent activity: for each request raised on behalf of a colleague, the request key, the Atlassian account IDs of the person who raised it and of the colleague, the time and the result. Entries are erased after 90 days.
On each request it also saves, as an issue property, the colleague chosen on the form and the result. These stay with the request in your Jira.
It stores no request content, no field values, no comments and no email addresses.
What it reads
- The organizations a customer belongs to, and the members of those organizations, to show the colleague picker. Member lists are kept only in memory for a few minutes and are never stored.
- The request's reporter and participants, to make the change and to show the note on the request page.
What it never does
- Show a customer anyone outside their own organizations, or anyone's email address.
- Send data outside Atlassian, to Systematic or to anyone else.
- Use your data for advertising, analytics or training.
Personal data
Account IDs in the activity log are reported every week to Atlassian's personal data reporting API. When Atlassian says an account was closed, the app erases its entries.
Deleting data
Uninstalling On Behalf removes the app, and Atlassian deletes its stored data under the Forge platform's data retention policy. The issue properties stay on the requests in your Jira. To ask about your data, write to us at info@systematic.com.lb.
